Hello, Stranger,
Here we are again, my old friends, back on the scene with all kinds of tomahawks to the dome. Dusu: Path of the Ancient #2 is here to save you from the airbrushed asses of fahionista elves and pretty boy dwarves, if ever there should be such a thing. In the acclaimed first issue, our dark skinned hero obliterated the scouting Sil-Sakramoorian raiders that had dared to enter the Ugoma jungle. In this issue, we will find out who their lupine master is, and we’ll ask the question, who is afraid of the big bad wolf? Everyone, of course. Delgoth, Ancient of the Wolf, sends his trusted lieutenant to investigate, and Dusu will cross paths with perhaps the fiercest creature he has ever encountered.
Now although I am a fan of the Silver and Black of Oakland (cue applause or groan here), I can sympathize with Dusu’s hatred for the barbarians that would dare tamper with his sanctuary. However, what will become clear in our tale of “sword and soul” is that the very Galemren (Wild Elf) people he is trying to protect love him less than his enemy. Well, some do, but I digress. I am very proud of the second brutal installment of Dusu’s tale which has been skillfully illuminated by James C. Webster. Dusu is unique, and as a result, he feels alone at home and in the outside world. Perhaps some of you can relate. Never quite fitting in, but knows he is on a Path for something more. Aren’t we all.
